Las Vegas has always had dance halls like the Gold Coast and Sam's Town where the locals go boot scootin', but with the increasing popularity of country music, the number of casinos with a country western theme is steadily increasing also. More and more country western entertainers are taking their shows to Las Vegas. From the 1st to the 15th of December when the professional cowboys come to town for the National Rodeo Finals, there are probably more country music entertainers in Las Vegas than in Nashville.
